How arrangements are made
Step 01
Choosing a Hymn
Each hymn is chosen out of the need for a certain type of arrangement or for a certain style of arrangement. Certain hymns are more condusive to certain styles than others.
Step 02
Arranging & Composition
During this step, the arrangement is determined. This is where the harmony, rhythm, and tembre of the song is adjusted for the arrangement prior to the performance of the arrangement.
Step 03
Recording
It's during this step that the final adjustments are made to the arrangement and the arrangement is recorded. This is also where any last-minute improvisation happens that is condusive to the composition.
Step 04
Publishing & Sheet Music
Arrangements are cleaned up, fine-tuned for listening, and then published on this website, alongside the YouTube Channel. Shortly following, if Sheet Music is beneficial for the piece, it is then created over a period of about 2-3 weeks to ensure authenticity, as well as intended sound from the arrangement that was performed in the recording.

New features and additions
Rebrand
Redesigned the website based on already-existing code that was tailored to fit the needs of Nelson Arrangements. The website is now more responsive, contains more features, and has a more modern look to it.
Growth
Nelson Arrangements began to outgrow its previous website. The new website is more robust and is more capable of handling the future growth. This also includes a new FAQ section for common questions.
Improved Capability
The previous website, although strong, was unable to be updated with new features. The new website, however, is more capable of delivering a reliable experience across all pages and sections.

The video release schedule varies, but it is intended that a video will be uploaded every three weeks.
Why are so few pieces of Sheet Music available?
Sheet Music is an arduous process to write, and ensure that it is accurate with the arrangement. Each arrangement is a memorized performance that must then be transferred to sheet music afterwards. As a one-person show, this can take a while to get through with the backlog of arrangements.
How long as Nelson Arrangements been around?
The arrangements were started between 2021 - 2023, but the website and YouTube Channel were created in late 2023.

It is typically around 2 weeks.

Yes, there are multiple that are slated to be re-recorded to ensure higher listening quality prior to publication.
